Nothing new in this article but for those who are still confused its nice to have an easy to read and understand article on the subject.

 
If I'm training hard lifting weights I'll have some in water after the workout plus creatine.


Before a workout in my breakfast Alpen muesli cereal, add walnuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sun flower seeds, ground chia and flax seeds, 4 dates 2 prunes and plain unsweetened soy milk. I had hemp seed and ginseng shavings but ran out.

This article came out today.

Their number one choice is the brand I bought for the first time last winter. I don't like it. I thought it ruins every drink I put it in. The texture is my main complaint. Makes your drinks chalky. I now just use one-quarter scoop in a smoothie. Never tried it just in water. there is no accounting for taste. Not sure what brand I'll get next. Maybe the Tom Brady one.
