Every so often we end up with a mouse problem in our basement. Son is living there so he has been playing the catch/release game for the last week, lol. They are adorable but we prefer not to share our living space with them. Did I mention we have four cats? Lol. Luckily, for the mice, the cats rarely go downstairs and the mice haven't ventured upstairs...this time.
Two years ago I was being awakened for several days a week by the cats chasing mice. I was always able to get out of bed, catch the mice before they were hurt, and release them outside. Not much fun at 2 am but hey, gotta do what you gotta do to help the little cuties!
