''Arthur was once a stray dog living in Ecuador. But now he's found a better home in Sweden after joining an endurance team on their adventures.
He first approached the group when they opened a can of meatballs and they soon found they couldn't shake him off.
So he ended up trekking 430 miles with them through as part of the Adventure Racing World Championships.''

Tugged at my heart strings, this did. ❤

I am amazed, as I sit my lazy butt in this bed, at the determination and strength of some people...and a dog, apparently.

I saw an interview of Mickael on the news this morning and the story is amazing. Apparently Arthur was stray and literally popped out of nowhere whilst they were doing there trek thingy. He had a bad injury on his back and was scruffy. He immediately followed the group and managed to swim, trek through the mud during 400 miles. He showed so much courage and determination that they all agreed to bring
the mite back with them to Sweden.
He is actually doing a 20 day quarantine and apparently is fine.

An animal specialist commented that it is the dog that adopted one of the members (Mickael) and not the other way around.

I'm certain that the two of them are going to enjoy a happy life together. Animals are so wonderful.:smitten:
