Soya curl & sweet potato Keralan style curry served with wholegrain rice.
I cannot make my mind up which curry is better; M&S Keralan curry sauce from a jar or homemade.
last night we had a Sol Cuisine burger with "English" poutine - normally poutine is made with french fries however I was too lazy so just boiled the potatoes and then put them in a bowl and covered them with mushroom gravy and some Violife cheez shreds - microwaved for 2 minutes and it was delicious (especially using the hamburger to mop up the extra gravy/cheez)
Leftover soya curl & sweet potato Keralan style curry served with wholegrain rice. I added some fresh spinach and
also some sliced banana before serving.
Two persimmons that I bought from a local vegetable farm.
thank you for the reminder about the sweet potatoes.... produce is so inexpensive at this time of year, here - I bought 10 lb bags of onions for $3 each, 10 lb bags of potatoes for $2 and a 10 lb bag of sweet potatoes for $5 - they are smaller so perfect for baking and I think I will make them tonight or tomorrow night
last night my honey made a dish inspired by a youtuber putting chick peas in with pasta (I personally love to combine bean/chick peas with pasta but he has always fought against it) - anyways - he made a very delicious meal which included penne, chick peas, tomatoes, parsley, garlic, kale, onions, olives, thai chili peppers, fennel, oregano and lots of TLC - 1/4 whole grain baguette thinly sliced
