Per MarketWatch, Starbucks in Canada will be adding a Beyond Meat plant-based meat sandwich to their menu starting next week (March 3rd).

The sandwich is not vegan (it contains egg and cheese), but this shows that damn near every major restaurant is scrambling to serve the new, "ultra meat-like" plant-based meats. McDonalds, Carls Jr, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Del Taco, Denny's, Hooters, Burger King, Subway, Dunkin' Donuts, and now Starbucks. The general public wants to eat less meat.
Kentucky Fried Chicken has just completed a month-long trial of serving "Beyond Fried Chicken" meatless "chicken" at some of its Southeastern United States locations. With any luck, the sales were encouraging, and KFC will start offering meatless "chicken" nationwide.
