Squid Ink

Hello ,
I am vegan and I am concerned about the use of squid ink in the things that I use/buy, such as pens, books, printing (I don’t do hardly any printing, but I would still like my mind put at rest about this) and/or paints. I don’t want to use anything that has squid ink, as I feel that it is cruel exploitation and not acceptable. Would any of the ink in the things I use be from squid?

Not likely except in some fancy restaurants. Yes, there are people who eat the stuff! Writing ink, printing ink and artists ink can be made from all types of thing but not from squid ink.
