West Real Food Daily opens a location inside Los Angeles International Airport!

For anyone planning to travel through Los Angeles International Airport, the dining has just gotten better. Real Food Daily, one of Los Angeles County's premier vegan restaurant minichains, is opening the first ever organic vegan eatery inside one of the nation's airports! And not just any airport but a major international airport! From an email I received:

At first glance they look like tempeh.

Is the airport far from you Amy? I wonder if it's worth going to even though you're not flying anywhere.

It's about an hour away when I factor in traffic. There's actually a full-sized RFD right here in Santa Monica that I've visited more than once, so I don't have to drive all the way to the airport to enjoy a nice vegan RFD meal.

ETA: And a vegan bakery next door that is owned by RFD.

Lucky you. You have far more vegan restaurants in SM than elsewhere I guess ?

There are three that I can think of at the moment. Probably more. And plenty of vegan-friendly restaurants near me that I can go out to eat at a different place every day of the week and have a nice vegan meal.
