For those who are religious, how did you go about choosing a religion?

I chose Pastafarianism because it appealed to my sense of humor and skepticism of religious faith.

I went to a Buddhist mass meditation in a park on a lovely day and really liked the people and the goings on there. And they had a vegan potluck.

I first read up on Buddhism mainly for a laugh.

What I found was better than funny though.
