The Physicians Committee is looking for a Research and Education Programs Coordinator to join our team. The Research and Education Programs Coordinator will facilitate day-to-day forward movement of all ongoing Physicians Committee campaigns to replace the use of animals in basic research, advanced trauma life support programs, medical student curricula, pediatrics residency programs, emergency medicine residency programs, and other areas.
The position involves extensive research and information-gathering via the Internet, telephone, freedom of information laws, scientific and medical journals, and other mediums; writing Web content, action alerts, white papers, and correspondence to government agencies, academic institutions, members of Congress, and others; policy analysis; and program coordination with co-workers and Physicians Committee partners.
