First I get out the juicer and juice carrots, beet, ginger, celery and apple, sometimes veg scraps.

My wife will usually make the smoothie using this juice then add into a blender, lettuce or green leafy stuff, frozen berries, peanut and almond butter, ground chia and flax seed, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seed, a little protein powder, nutritional yeast, turmeric, black pepper and cinnamon plus maybe othe stuff.

have this after a 90 minute walkabout on the nature trail.
