I started an online fundraiser for the pound I volunteer at. I hate to ask for money, but I've learned when it comes to helping a poor county pound, you have no room for pride.
This isn't a well funded shelter or rescue but a pound run by a few passionate people. A lot of things come out of our own pocket, and besides the warden none of us are paid.
The fundraiser is to raise money so the pound can continue to buy shots and worming medicine for each dog. We would like to eventually be able to spay/neuter each dog but we can no where near afford that at this time. Every $1 helps.
