I've created a new forum in the Community Area section of the board, which I have named 'The Bazaar'.
The idea is that this forum will have posts about selling things, buying thing, good deals and so on. Everything goes (within reason!) as long as it's veg*n-friendly.
The idea for this kind of forum was actually conceived a long time ago, in a universe far away, before VV (and not by myself), but it didn't work out at the time. We saw a lot of what we called 'on-topic spam', and were confronted with the dilemma of whether we really should ban and delete these posters and their content or not. The problem was that at least sometimes what they posted seemed really interesting or useful, so banning an deleting didn't seem to be in the best interest of the community.
I don't expect a lot of traffic in this forum.
The forum is not visible unless you're logged in.
As with any other forum, it's possible to 'ignore' the forum, i.e. make it so you don't see the posts in there.
