Mistreatment of animals and insects by British TV series I'm a Celebrity

I am upset by the constant mistreatment of insects and animals by the programme 'I'm a celebrty... get me out of here' Night after night, they feature insects and live creatures being placed on contestants, and often have insects being dropped onto people, likely killing or injuring many of them for 'entertainment'.

If anyone based in the UK wants to join me in complaining, the link below is from the RSPCA, containing a form to send a message to Ofcom about the programme.

I agree with this but it's hypocritical of the RSPCA as they have their stamp all over packets of factory farmed animal flesh.

I've never seen "I'm A Celebrity...", but crap like this doesn't usually surprise me. However, I thought the UK was ahead of most other places about this sort of thing.

Then I remembered fox hunting.
