Vegan Messy "Cheesy" BBQ Portobello Burgers

To make four burgers:
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
4 portobello mushrooms, stems removed,wiped clean
handful of radicchio
4 round slices vidalia onions
4 wheat sesame burger buns
4 Tbsp vegan mayo
1 cup pepperjack cheese – Daiya brand
1 avocado, sliced
1. Grill mushrooms first, or broil in the oven for five minutes on each side, then bake in 350 degree oven smothered in the BBQ sauce for about ten minutes.
2. Add cheese to each mushroom and turn oven on broil for a few minutes to melt.
3. Toast buns and spread with vegan mayo.Add onion, radicchio, avocado, and mushrooms.
