Adorable.I haven't seen a real hedgehog since I was about 10 years old.
I see quite a lot of them overhere. Unfortunately often lying dead on the roadside after being run over.
The other day when I left at 5.30 in the morning for work, I had to stop as there was a poor mite trying to cross the road. He couldn't get a good balance and was swaying on the curb. Thankfully there wasn't anyone behind me as they would have been mad waiting for me to let the mite cross.

The Monster Raving Loony Part (true!) addressed this problem in one of their election manifestos.
Idea was to lower the buttons on controlled pedestrian crossings so the hedgehogs could reach them.
Other 'loony' ideas included lowering the age of legal adulthood from 21 to 18. Unfortunately some other loonies took that idea seriously.
