New vegan. Been mostly vegetarian. Had covid twice and lost taste and smell. When it returned the smell of meat cooked / raw was disgusting. Dairy tasted sour . And fish had the same weird smell and taste . Embraced going vegan and haven't missed my old eating habits .

Welcome on board, sorry to hear about your encounter with 'rona! Hope you're feeling better now? Sounds like you won't be missing animal foods, though, so I guess that is the silver lining!

The Lone Star tick's symptoms are more like an allergy.

Losing or changing sense of smell is a symptom of covid.
I haven't had covid but I did lose/change my sense of smell/taste once. It came (mostly) back after a while. However my nephew had a head injury and it hasn't come back.

Oh. btw, Welcome to the forum, whiz.
