Hi all,

I am new to the forum and could do with some help.

I have recently become interested in the raw food diet and have started reading about it. I would love to hear peoples opinions on it and whether or not you think it would help with a weight problem.

Naturally, as dairy and meat are high in fat you should lose a little weight if you follow a vegan diet. :)
 
I have a passion for raw foods and have been playing with it for many years now and the most fit and slim I have ever been was when I was eating all raw vegan. I do eat cooked plant based foods right now but if I were single I would do raw again in a heartbeat. There are so many good books/recipes that are affordable (ebay, etc) now that can help you along if you are interested. Don't expect that anyone around you will "get it" but honestly it is a pretty cheap, simple and great way to eat and well worth looking into!
