Homemade toys?

I would like to make some homemade toys as a gift for my 2 year old nephew, and am looking for some ideas (and maybe instructions!). I'm not the most crafty person, and while I am hoping to get better, I would like simpler ideas. One thing I have thought of is making him play food with felt, as he loves his plastic play foods and I think this is a cute idea to make him some more. Any other ideas would be much appreciated!

Street Paint w/ a Splat!
Craft Foam Bath Murals
Bubble Printing Fun
Discovery Bottles
Felt Tree and Ornaments (this could work for other things, too)
Bubble bath Paint - Another one you can do is White shaving foam + food coloring = bathtub painting fun
Glowsticks in the Bath!
DIY Busy Wallet - for when you're in a restaurant, or waiting room, etc. and need to keep'em busy

I have a lot more but I think most of them are for older kiddos.

Playdough might be a big hit, especially if you add in some accessories like rolling pins, toothpicks, cookie cutters, etc.

Playdough! Yeah, I love that stuff and I had this Koolaid playdough recipe saved.
