Hello from hull - charity dilemma

I hope your day has been awesome

I have had a few sleepless nights recently due to my conscience regarding a request at work to give to charity.

I think it's great people are getting off their arse and doing something for others and I'm really pleased my colleagues are putting that effort into helping others.

My issue is the charity they are raising for tests on animals which I do not wish to give my money in support.

I don't want to seem righteous or a bit of a stick in the mud.

Has any one else encountered this, how did you deal with the situation?

Hi gib, just explain that while you agree with giving you cannot donate to this charity because of your conscience and will donate an amount to a charity that does not test on animals

Is it a medical research charity? If so I would donate.
