It sounds obvious, but presumably there are people like myself who have not been veg*n their whole lives, and decided for animal rights reasons to become veg*n.
What has changed for me though since BECOMING vegan (rather than my reasons for it) is my view of what is natural. Bizarre as it sounds, I didn't like the thought of animals killing each other. I hated watching nature program's where a predator was hunting (despite knowing it could starve if the prey got away). And didn't like the cats catching mice etc. I have found now that I am actually quite comfortable with what is natural.
Did anyone else notice their views change in a way they weren't expecting?
On another note, I am less queezy in the operating theatre at work seeing patients being cut and blood and fat etc...I think now I can completely dissociate what I see there to my food!!
