Hi everyone,

Happy to join you. I became a vegan for ethical reasons some 18 years ago. I've done some vegan activisism but most of time is spent with my wonderful nine dogs, all who were in deplorable condition when I found them. Lately, I've been writing books for vegan children which I hope to self-publish later this year.

Tell us more about Mauritius and what you eat over there?

Things have changed a lot in the last couple of decades, and Mauritius has become a great place to be vegan. Everything you could wish for is available in the supermarkets and we have a really good vegan restaurant in the north. The difficulty is seeing on animals on the island are treated, in particular dogs and monkeys.
