Yesterday I marched with local high school kids and other adults for Climate Strike, but today I got to have my face painted like a mountain lion to march in the All Species Parade in my town, before having vegan sushi with Vegan Club nearby later in the afternoon.
During the Vegan Club sushi meeting, I was privileged to encounter a DXE organizer from Barcelona, Spain who will be in Berkeley next week as well. I also met a local woman who gave me her number who will be there. I'm feeling really good about all of these demonstrations and protests, and look forward to being at the California Convergence next weekend. So excited.
