After I started looking at VB and VV, I started to become more aware about what was in my shampoo, and what company made it. It turns out both Pantene and Tresemme are owned by animal testing companies (Proctor and Gamble and Unilever*, respectively).
At first I nervously sought an alternative, but (after doing some research) I finally decided to just do away with shampoo altogether. The first few days, my hair was a little greasy, but after about a week (week and a half?) my hair is starting to feel okay. The sites that I was looking at seemed to say that shampoo gets rid of natural oils.
Heres are some of the websites that I was looking at, just from doing a Google search:

Anyway, I wanted to see what you guys think about this. I will have to see how it goes...
*Off-Topic: Unilever owns Marmite too!
