Milk sales could sour as teenagers are shunning the British staple for trendy non-dairy versions like soya and almond milk.

Industry leaders have warned farmers are facing a crisis as vegan diets followed by stars such as pop idols Miley Cyrus and Ellie Goulding are behind young people losing their taste for milk, cheese and eggs.

The article goes on to say Dairy UK will try to boost sales through a major marketing campaign.
 
There is too much milk being produced in the EU now so instead of us taxpayers having to pay farmers to throw away milk, it'll be better that they grow veggies. Everyone wins! :D
(where I live the new idea to sell milk is as "nature's own sport drink" and carbonated ... usch!)
 
Good news although if you look at the figures it is going to take decades to see a real change.
