My favorite salad was a chopped romaine, apple, toasted walnuts, celery with a blue cheese vinagrette
I got everything to make this, and in the process of blending garlic with vinegar and olive oil thought about how when I first tried Daiya mozzerella I thought it sorta had a blue cheese quality.
I had half a bag, so I put a handful in the dressing and whirred it up in a mini blender.
It worked!
Had just enough of that blue tanginess to complete it!
On another note: I bought organic romaine just to avoid the"plastic" film that I thought was from gmo romaine. It was still there. Any thoughts on that?
