UK Cafe owner 'warns' customers she is black

A cafe owner has put up a sign telling customers she is black because she is fed up with people walking out when they see the colour of her skin.

Good for her for saying what she thinks. I find it hard to believe... that so many people wouldn't shop in a shop because of the race of the owner... but that doesn't mean it's not true. If it is true it's just sad.

I don't really see what's "offensive" about her sign, unless you aren't shopping at her store because she is black .

I might kinda expect that a cafe serving Afro-Caribbean food would be run by person(s) of Afro-Caribbean origin.

In fact I would be a bit suspicious of the authenticity of the Afro-Caribbean food if it didn't!

For various reasons I think Ms Kolleh may have been a bit slack on the market research front before opening her business in a place like Osset though.
