Black Salt(Kala Namak )

Is there any way to get something like black salt(Kala Namak ) but without so much ordinary salt(Sodium Chloride) in it?

It is the hydrogen sulphide that caused the rotten eggy smell, but I'm not sure if one can buy that as a chemical for cooking....apparently it is a poisonous gas!
 
I think quite a bit of indian kala namak is artificially manufactured so it should be possible to make a lower sodium salt variety. (You'd need access to a blast furnace that can fuse sulfate and chloride salts in a reducing environment.)

that's interesting. I just bought some off Amazon, and I put some on my finger to taste it, and I thought it tasted artificial.....not as nice as the stuff I had before.....I hope it is safe to eat.
