In my local area a bunch of artisanal bath products contain lanolin, beeswax, or goats milk. I try to buy local and am able to get good smelling soaps, and facial oils, and some things I'm sure I'm missing. But I think when I buy products like lip balm and shampoo/conditioner I am buying from small companies but not local.

I really don't know how to fix this, I live in a dairy farming community where people also keep honey bees and I guess it could be worse, I could live near factory farms or not be able to buy anything local.
