APPLE TREE

Some of you may remember this from VB.


Well, it grew some leaves over the summer. I think there's hope for it! It's a little hard to tell because the leaves are drying now. I should have snapped a pic of it sooner.

So what had happened to the tree? Did a storm rip off the top bits or did it get some kind of disease so you had to amputate?

Yeah, it was a disease...a disease called my husband!! I could have killed him when I first saw it, but maybe he actually knew what he was doing, lol.

I remember this! I was just thinking about it the other day. I'm a bit irrationally happy to hear it's doing well.

Just because I knew everyone was dying of curiosity, lol.

The tree as it is now. Hubby says there are apples. I don't believe him. I don't see any.

Maybe he sees those little teeny tiny new budding apples that look like crabapples that are hard to see unless you really look.

That's the problem...I think I would have noticed if it did. He claims he saw flowers, too, lol. I hope he's right. I wouldn't mind being wrong...just this once.

Ahh, I remember that tree. I'd still be worried about the long term health of it, that was quite the wack job.
