Question Alpro dairy free custard

I was cleaning my cupboard and found an unoprened Alpro Dairy free custard with best before 12.17, just out of cuiriosity, how long can it be stored before it needs to discarded?

You can eat soya products such as custard a few weeks after the best before date. The best before date and the use by dates are two different things.

However, if you consume the product after a few months, you may experience some symptoms similar to mild food poisoning. So, in doubt, I would bin it.:sadnod:

Have you ever tried making your own pb custard ? It's really easy peasy. ;)

Having said that, Alpro have the best pb products including yogurt and milk.
