After 146 years, Ringling Brothers finally took their last bow!

I'm so grateful to all the animal activists who made this happen. Moreover, to all the people that stopped going to Ringlings' shows.
Richmond Friends of Animals and Peta have been at the opening of every Ringling Brothers show here in RVA for decades, holding signs, passing out literature and talking to circus goers. Just goes to show that peaceful protest works. It might take more time than we'd like, but we can change hearts and minds.
We got a ban for elephants in Norway this year. They haven't been allowed to be kept in zoos for ages, as the Norwegian clima isn't suitet for elephants at all. But finally it came a ban.
But the last years has brought some good things with them for the animals. It shows that it helps fighting!
