I need some help. Does anyone know how to add an object to a photo? I would prefer not to have to add an app as my iMac is
as old as a dinosaur and my iphone is a basic one.

Thank you. :)

I'm not sure what you mean by object. I can add stickers like you see when I post pictures of my self and want to hide my face lol.

Yeah that's beyond my capabilities without using an app. I'm not even sure I could figure it out with an app lol.

Interesting...

The Takeaway: AI is Accessible, Not Exclusive

The narrative that you need the latest tech to use AI is misleading. AI's power today lies in its accessibility through the cloud, making it available on any device with an internet connection. Whether you're on an old MacBook, a budget Android phone, or a Windows PC from half a decade ago, you can still harness AI's potential.

The focus should be on how AI solves your problems or enhances your daily life, not on the race to own the newest piece of hardware. So before you decide to upgrade, remember: AI is here to assist, not to dictate your tech choices.

Did an AI write that? :unamused: It's essentially correct, though, just the language is like that of a salesperson for AI ...

@shyvas I assume you can use the browser (Safari?) on either of your devices, go to the URL/domain name of the AI service, sign up, log in and start a conversation about what you want to do. It will probably ask you to upload a photo of your balcony at some point, and to describe the deckchair.

Embarrassingly, I'm such a luddite with AI that I don't even know how to do simple things like this.

I don't use Safari but chrome. My imac is outdated and old; like me! :grinning: I was just hoping for an easy way to add something to a photo. I have very little time for fiddling around with apps etc.

I've no idea...I simply did a search in Google and found this. Is Google AI at this point? I'm still trying to sort it out. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think this is the article that popped up when I did the search.

Also, I use the word Google but on my phone, it's Safari...not sure that matters. My family thinks I'm tech savvy (for my age) but really, I'm just plodding along the best I can lol. So much that I have no clue/understanding about.

Chrome is probably better anyway.

Maybe you can ask a friend for help, who is a little bit braver?

Here's a quick example for you to show how easy it can be. I googled "Gemini" and then agreed to selling my liver etc before I found myself in a conversation with the thing. Here's how it went:
