I'll be due again next month, assuming it's advised to get it every six months. I don't know if we're supposed to get it only once a year now. I have my yearly physical on Tuesday so I'll see what my doctor says.
It did work for me and it was suggested to my husband to try it when he got the vertigo in February, but he wasn't inclined to do so. He just suffered through it but I do think the meds they gave him in the hospital helped him.
My granddaughter has Covid now. She tested positive on Sunday but thankfully had a super easy go of it. Little bit of a scratchy throat and a headache. She already feels better.
We were hoping she would never get it because the rest of her family has had it and she always escaped it, even...
It never left. Every few weeks or so, since Covid began, I hear of someone having it. My neighbor got it December 30, 2023 and is still having issues. The doctor thinks it has morphed into long covid now.
If I do get the shingles vaccine it will be the two dose one.
My husband had it in 2018 and it was a very mild case. But he also went on the antiviral just as the rash was coming out. For two or three days he kept asking me if there was something on his back because he felt like something was...
Well at least you have some natural immunity to Covid now. I'm not sure what the wait period is for getting the vaccine after you've had Covid. I think my neighbor waited three months.
Yikes...sounds bad. Hope they all feel better soon.
I've been struggling with whether or not to get the rsv vaccine. So far I'm fine with getting the flu and Covid vaccines. And while I am pro vaccine I hesitate to add another to the list. I've yet to get the pneumonia or shingles vaccine. My...
Granddaughter isn't feeling well...day two of sore throat but so far Covid negative. We're going there for thanksgiving. I'm going to be so mad if she ends up with Covid. She is the only one in her family that hasn't had it! 🤞🙏
@shyvas how frustrating! It does seem that travel is one way to catch it. When my daughter went to Italy last October, she and her two travel mates caught it despite all being fully vaccinated.
I still think the problem is that people aren't diligent with testing. They catch what they assume...
Covid Vaxx. I got the flu shot two weeks ago and did fine with that.
Back to normal today, thankfully. So weird how the reaction comes on then goes away so fast.
I jinxed myself. Down for the count...body aches, chills, headache. I'll be in bed a good part of the day but I'm sure I'll feel better by evening. In the past the reaction never lasted more than 36 hours.
