    Does anyone here play VR?

I think you can probably get public demos in some stores. You could check that out on the Oculus store itself for where they are held.. not sure if it's in Canada though. But I can't imagine it'd be too hard to find. Most people I show VR to are blown away by it when they first try. :) Mobile...

Health Issues My experience with zinc deficiency

Right, but it doesn't completely just shut off when you're deficient either. It's more like a dial rather than an on/off switch. Like pretty much every system cells and body. Sounds like you're talking about Evan Rock and his wife? His diet did start to get pretty restrictive... I don't think...

Health Issues My experience with zinc deficiency

I eat legumes pretty much every day, a lot of them. And I eat whole grains and nuts. It only around 4 years after I became vegan that things started to get worse, but as I said, I noticed that I was getting sick a lot more as well. Even a year or two prior to that I was catching colds and flu...

Hi all! :) 16 years mostly plant-based, over 7 years vegan

There is a group of us doing it and some are between 80-90 now (and in amazing health!), so he's not the oldest. I think many started at some point in the 90s. In the study group at WUSTL (not CALERIE study), they found zero plaque build up in any of the participants, even in one person who was...

Hi all! :) 16 years mostly plant-based, over 7 years vegan

I wouldn't recommend that anyone try to do CR, at least at the levels I and some other people do it (I eat about 1500-1600 K/cal a day). My metabolism slowed a lot over 16 years, so now I can maintain a BMI close to 19. Veganism + CR seems like it's asking for trouble unless you're very...

Hi all! :) 16 years mostly plant-based, over 7 years vegan

He has skin needling which can increase collagen synthesis (completely different to botox) and yeah, dyes his hair. But he's 61... And I don't think he's trying to prove anything to anyone, he just gets contacted to do interviews and to take part in this kind of programs. He is part of a...

Hi all! :) 16 years mostly plant-based, over 7 years vegan

Oh.. if you're interested, this is one guy who has been on CR for probably the longest out of anyone I know. He started when he was 30 but became more strict at 35. He's over 60 years old now, too... I did an interview with him recently. :)...

Hi all! :) 16 years mostly plant-based, over 7 years vegan

I think that's mostly it... People have forgotten what is normal these days. Vegans (according to research) already eat much fewer calories than people on a standard diet. It's not as low as people who intentionally do CR, but it's enough that they get some of the benefits and stay pretty trim...

    Plant-based milks on the rise:

Soy milk was definitely an acquired taste for me... I don't drink it by itself but always use it with something else like hot chocolate. My favorite is Almond milk because it tends to go well with many things. It's a shame that there is so much misinformation about soy milk though... especially...

    Plant-based milks on the rise:

Plant-based milks on the rise: A quarter of Britons are drinking them Good news! It's great to see real progress being made like this. Even just 5 years ago things seemed very different... And I guess it's not surprising either that younger people are able to change more easily than older...

How can I find a vegan GF?

London has every kind of person you can imagine, surely it can't be that hard. I'm sure that there are lots of events as well as going on every year right? Maybe try to find someone who is just vegetarian. If you could do that your options are much greater lol

    Problems with Presidential Candidates

It was disappointing how Andrew Yang and Marianne Williamson had their microphones muted in the last debate. This is why Yang had the lowest time speaking. When he tried, he realized that his mic was switched off so he couldn't interject. I think I read some articles that Yang is polling around...

What are you listening to right now?

Yeah here haha. I'm sure that BTS is like the biggest bands in the world right now. BLACKPINK (a Korean girl band) are massive too, always breaking YT records. :D There are some really cool rock/indie bands in Korea though, less well-known in the West compared to in Korea. But Kpop is really...
